Default Electrical Gremlins

Alright, had an issue late last week - Thought it was fuel related, but ended up being electrical - Blew the #33 fuse (for coils / spark) 2-3 times in one day. My local mechanic wiggled the wire loom for right most (driver side) plug on the PCM & cleaned said pins / plug. There have been no starting / running issues since (driven <150 miles since), but it's got to be a short, right? (Seems to be a common problem).

Other things that have just manifested (mechanic says it has nothing to do with what he touched while trouble shooting the above problem - Not sure if I'm convinced):

· • Unknown start date, possibly when I got the truck back – Truck starts with key in the “on” / “run” position. No need to turn the key to the “crank” / “start” position.

· • On or very shortly after I got the truck back – Radio / CD player will not work with truck running – No sound from speakers, but otherwise is operational.
o Intermittently / briefly will work when you hit a bump or floor the accelerator or in reverse.
o Will work as soon as you shut down truck and leave key in accessory or off position.

Does it make sense that the 2nd and 3rd issues are related to the same short / chafed wire loom or is it coincidence that I all of a sudden also have an ignition issue?
