wow small world lol, actually the best route is to get a controller. DCC has the best ones out there. they actually cost more then the fans but theyll set your mind at ease know you have a good controller. its a hot, a ground, a AC tap, and a thermostat you put in the radiator. i think thats all the wiring involved. DCC have pretty good direction on their website. http://www.dccontrol.com/introf0.htm

on a side note, where is your house in clarksville?

My recommendation (to keep the costs low) is to buy a Mark VIII fan. Buy one that is two speed; the Mark VIII fans were made with single and two speed variations. They are available on EBay for 60 to 80 bucks. I bought one a couple of weeks ago for $59.00. Verify with the seller that the fan is a two speed. The Mark VIII fan is easily modified to fit into your stock fan shroud, something I think is a good reason to go with this setup. There is a good link (perhaps the one above) which shows a similar setup using a Ford Taurus electric fan installed in the stock fan shroud.

Then buy a two speed controller. I got mine from this person:

This will set you back $79.00. All in all, you will have under two hundred bucks invested; much less than the fan kits sold on other web sites.
