Default edge tuner with transmission problems?

I have a 08 ford f150 5.4 60 anniversary edition with a edge tuner and i have been running power level 2 with firmness changed and torque converter locking earlier but i have about 58000 miles on my tuck and already had to have it in the shop and got the trans overhauled they found over drive band damaged and found the snap ring came off the reverse drum and had to overhaul the valve body and replaces torque converter and now i am hesitant to install my tuner back in what you guys think could all of this be caused by the tuner thanks

No, tranny's are hit or miss. I'm pretty sure the parts you replaced were common points of failure for some people. The TC was probably replaced because the tranny was getting rebuilt. Old torque converter remnants could have got into the system if they left the old one there.

I don't think your tuner grenade'ed your tranny. Try installing a canned tune and refrain from messing with the shift points... Bump them up or down slowly if you do. It takes time to dial it in to your liking.
