okay guys so i got my edge cs tuner yesterday, and after updating in online and plugging it in i found that the previous owner had tuned the truck with a different product. So i hooked the tuner back to the internet and downloaded the codes i needed to return it to stock. I plugged it in and turned it to stock and then tuned it to power lv 2.
I drove the truck that night and it sounded great and i really noticed a difference.
But, when I got up this morning to head to school i got in the truck and noticed i had a wrench icon on my guage cluster, so i ran the code in the edge tuner and it said something like a throttle response problem? My cruise control doesn't work now unless I gun it and then it seems to reset it to where it works, and using the pedal and giving it gas seems really different and the rpms keep revving up and down.
The code is:
"P2106- throttle actuator control system- forced limited power"
any answers or help y'all can provide would be appreciated!

 

I just had a code P2106 too and it was the throttle position sensor on it's way out, it would sporadically go into limp mode on me. A new TPS from Ford was $111 or so at my dealer, and got the computer reflashed too. If your throttle body is pretty dirty, I'd clean that first because the valve may be hanging up because of build up.

 

So I'm lookin at a $111 fix... Great.
