this is exactly what i was mentioning? i was telling the guy that STOCK from EDGE, the cts has much more capability because you can plug it into a computer and get custom tunes online from anyone who makes them without sending it off. if you have a STOCK evo from EDGE, it has to be sent off to be made to hold custom tunes, it can't just plug in and get custom tuned like he cts. i was mentioning that a CUSTOM tune will perform much better than a CANNED tune from edge when tuned to the mods he has on his truck.

btw PHP isn't the only place to get custom tunes from, but they are the ones who make an edge evo into a gryphon. the cs and cts are not changed into gryphons, they are just tuned by php.

the guy who used to write tunes for edge made his own business selling rebadged edge evo's (called gryphons) and writing custom tunes.

What are you guys talking about????? My tuner is a edge evolution cS? That what the box says why are you calling them evolution AND CS? Aren't they just one like evolution cS and evolution cts?

 

they're good if you buy the rebadged gryphon ones from php that hold custom tunes. the gryphons do the exact same thing as a cts, just less fancy display but cost alot less $$$ so i'd say they're worth it. but don't buy the stock evo from edge, you'll just have to pay extra $ to get it turned into a gryphon.

 

ALL edge programmers are from the "evolution" series. but the edge evolution programmer is the older edge programmer that is gray with the single color screen. edge kept the evolution name on the cs and cts, but the actual EVO programmer itself is edge's original one. just look it up online it will make it much simpler.
