What happens when you get a CAI? Or bigger tires? Or move to a different altitude? You just throw your programmer away and buy a new one?

Well he didn't specify what programmer he has but if it's an Edge Evo it can adjust for tires. As for specific issues, an Edge can be converted to a Gryphon later if needed with custom tunes.

Ive already adjusted for bigger tires and have no desire at all to get a CAI, those things are a waste of money.

Doesn't look like anyone answered this specific question, so "They are all the same". I have the Edge CS, by the way.

The base system is monochrome, the CS is Color Screen, and the CTS is Color Touch Screen. Otherwise, the tuning and functions are the same. So you're really paying extra for color or touch. Choose the one you like that meets your budget. Buy the POD. It's very cool. Just like bow ties.

I just looked at the Edge site; is the base system no longer offered? May be some great deals out there if they've discontinued it.

Better MPG if you keep your foot out of it. I tow a 28' Pontoon and a 31' Travel trailer. I am looking at Edge for towing ability. I had one on my F250 Super Duty, it got an average of 17MPG, not bad for a 3/4 ton

Q: What do you replace to get better mileage?
A: The driver.

The Edge helped me get better mileage two ways. Program #2, Towing, improved me by a MPG or so. But their Mileage Coach program was awesome, teaching me how to drive differently to get better mileage. That got me another MPG or so, on average.
