Default Edge Issue???

This past weekend i was down in Boston watching Manny get his *** kicked by the Sox and while driving through the city the truck started to shake while under power like it was missing and had very little power. I had my evo on level 2 tow which i usually leave it on. It only lasted for about a minute and it ran fine. Later on I was getting on the on ramp accelerating and it started missing again for a few seconds and then it went away and ran fine all the way back to Maine. I don't know if it was a spark issue, a gas issue, an edge issue or what but i was wondering if anyone has had this issue. It almost felt like a coil pack issue (I went trhough 4 on my old 2000 5.4) It seems like the edge has some quirky little characteristics that go along w/ it. My one fear of putting something like that on my truck was whether or not it was going to cause my truck problems.

Oh and my truck is an 08 5.4 w/ 18,000 miles, a gotts mod w/ AEM dryflow filter and a Magnaflow muffler. I have a company vehicle so it does not get used and abused everyday.

Im dealing with the same issue right now. My 2005 XLT does that same thing after it warms up only, almost like youre running over rumble strips on the highway as soon as you take overdrive off it stops too? The more I read on here the more I am to believe its either one of the coils or one of the spark plugs. Ive been crazy busy and have been meaning to bring it to the shop, hopefully next week. If you still dont have an answer by then I will let you know what the verdict is! Good luck

Well i will be interested in hearing how things work out for you. What really worries me is that i only have just under 18,000 miles on my truck. If it gets worse then i will have to take the edge out or turn it back to stock and see if it continues. If it does then back to the steelership it goes.
