Never one to just give up, I went to the device manager and performed a manual driver update. I made the disk the root drive to install from (folder location:\ D), hit 'ok', and crossed my fingers. Got a successful driver load update, relaunched Fusion and connected the device. It booted, went green, and it verified unit was up-to-date. Sweet!
Now I'm a little nervous about the Gryphon update. I watched a youtube video a user here posted. Driver install was confusing there. Anyway, I end the night on a positive note.

Sweet! Do you have my custom level 2 settings for the Gryphon?

Shift Firmness:
1-2 @ 6
2-3 & 3-4 @ 6 as well

WOT Shift:
1-2 @ 4700 (was at 4900 and the truck took a full 2 seconds in between shifts, not good)
2-3 @ 4950
3-4 @ 4800

Rev Limiter @ 5300

Speed Limiter @ 125

Timing @ +1.25

WOT Fuel @ +1.75

To advance the timing this much you HAVE to run 91 octane or higher. You can run these settings with 87 octane, but I wouldnt advance timing by more than .50 (half a degree).

Yep, I copied your settings from the Gryphon update thread earlier so I wouldn't have to hunt them later. I was on a roll, so I went ahead and downloaded Pegasus and updated it to Gryphon. That went smoothly. I'll install it tomorrow morning and adjust the settings. I'm guessing I'll need to update the tire size and gear ratio straight away...right?

Great news! Just check them and make sure the gear ratio matches and as far as tire size, what size do you have?

What about upping the fuel at wot like you did? I'm running 87 octane. Thinking upping the timing .5 degree and upping the fuel

Plus .5 with 87 is fine. You can up WOT fuel anytime. Its not dependent in timing/octane.

I've seen some references to entering 97% of your circumference to account for 'tire squish'. Do you do this?
