I installed my edge. I was expecting to see at least some difference in power. Not like bolting on a rocket but a little. The only thing i noticed was the trani shifting so hard i thought i was going drop it on the highway. I am running tow tune 87. I would not say i am not seeing any fuel economy gains either. I have custom tuned the trani firmness to minus 20 and it feels good now... that is a lot i think to have to adjust. I am not looking for race car. Fuel and towing response are my goals. This is not quite getting it done. What am i missing? This is an 08 f150 5.4 lariat crew 3.73 gears stock tires.

 

I've heard good things about the edge. Not sure why you are getting ill results. I personally use the Automind Tuner from Banks (came with my whole powerpack system I bought). Definitely noticeable gains. Maybe not so much in fuel economy though. Hopefully you can get it tuned right. Have you tried updating it on your computer?

 

Yes i had to pull the latest from php since edge does not update this model anymore. so it is the latest from php.

 

Anyone have any ideas on what to try

 

It woke my truck up and its quicker from a stop and doesnt upshift ridiculously fast like it did before. Its no race car but atleast its faster getting up to highway speeds now.

 

i just run it on stage 1. i got close to 2mpg increase and it will take off like a demon if i floor it.
