I picked up a used EvoII. The box is labeled 04-06 F150. The MFG date was March of 06, the Ver number is E3.13.14a it is labeled a EEF2400. I am not sure what all those numbers mean. However, I downloaded the fusion software and loaded it on my laptop. The * said that it supports V3 and above or at least that i how I read it. This says Ver E3XXXXX so I assumed it is a V3. Problem is the software tells me it is an unrecognized device? Is this a Win7 issue? Is the programmer able to be updated? Do I need to update it to work with my 2008 F150? Is there some legacy software available to do this? Or am I just out the $$??
