No, I was under the impression that Edge quit doing any updates to the Evo like in 09. Guess I should check their site

You need to have the latest Edge drivers installed on your computer, then at least update it or check for an update. Then download Pegasus from PHP and convert. I was a fool to wait the 6 months that I did.

Just updated last night to the gryphon. Truck ran fine this morning but it was -9 all the way into work! Only managed between 14-15 MPG but i'm sure it had something to do with the cold temperatures. I will also be getting a custom tune from PHP but kinda wanna take a poll first. I've always run the programmer in mode 3 with 91 octane...I hardly ever tow a trailer...I just like good acceleration and being able to cruise 55-60 and get 18 MPG...What type of tune would I be best off with? Keeping in mind that the best gas I can get around here is 91 Non-ethanol.

Summers I also feel ridiculous for waiting so long! ......Although I can only run 91 octane should I only run the 87 tow mode (mode 2) on the gryphon for now? I thought that 91 NON-ETHANOL could be substituted for 93 octane for use in the 93 performance mode (mode 3)....or could something bad come of this?

I run a custom level 2 on 91 non-ethanol octane with a timing bump of +1.25. Like you all I can get is 91 octane. Nothing higher around me. But I am more than happy.

So your just running the canned 87 tow tune on the gryphon with your own customized adjustments then? Meaning you are not using a custom tune from PHP? Just want to understand you correctly, many people get confused when the word "custom" is used so liberally, as it is in most tuner discussions on the forum

Well the programmer asks if you want to do a custom tune to the level 2, I pick "yes" . Otherwise I would use a "tune from PHP" as ny terminology. I am getting ready to order a tune from PHP.

Okay I figured that's what you were talking about. Let me know how that tune works out for you. I believe I will more than likely be purchasing a custom 91 performance tune from PHP as well.
