Default Edge Evo Screen Goes Blank

Right after I jump started a F-550 my evo screen went blank but it was still lit up. So I just unplugged it from my truck and plugged it back in and it was fine. Now its happening just about every time I start my truck. When I turn my truck on, the start up screen comes on and then goes to the home display screen with my MPGs and MPH. As soon as I start my truck, the screen goes blank.... Any suggestions?

Hi.

Some common causes:

-weak battery
-cable issue
-corrupted firmware
-hardware failure

For the last 2 items you will need to contact Edge Tech Support.

It does happen - not that rare ...

best of luck!

Just found this in another thread:

"I got an evo a couple a months ago and it works pretty good, i like all the features and nice fitting dash pod, ive have a few problems with the WOT setting and learned to unplug your cable before jump starting or it will fry your cable, but im really thinking about upgrading it to the gryphon beacuse of all the good stuff ive heard. i would probaly just buy the gryphon to begin with tho."

Maybe I should just try to find a new cable to see if that fixes it
