Hello I just recently purchased a edge CS. Programed it to my truck and during the programing when I turned the key back to on my truck now will just start cranking and not stop until I turn it of and pull the key out. the programmer wont communicate with my truck it says it clears my computer but it wont load the new information on there and now I got a dead truck. someone please help me !!!!

Have you called Edge about the problem?

 

Was it new when you bought it?

If it was used, was it returned to stock before you bought it?

Whether used or new, you should have updated it before connecting it to your truck.

Sounds like you are new to tuners. You can do a lot of damage trying to install one if you dont read the owners manual and follow directions to a T.

 

If the unit isn't returned to stock, you can't program a new truck.

If the battery voltage drops during programming, it can cause this.

Edge will probably tell you to update the programmer and try again. They may tell you to put a battery charger on it prior to programming (or leave a trickle charger attached).

Good luck. PCM's aren't TOO expensive (if you bricked yours), but it's a few days to wait for one off fleabay.
