OEM quality. Since the original struts gave you a long time in service, why cheap out in replacing them?

I scuba dive a lot, and used to instruct. I always told new students that they can go and buy cheap masks, fins, snorkel, BCD's, and regulators. However, you'll soon go and buy better, meaning you'll pay more then if you just bought good quality stuff in the first place.

The same logic holds water here as well. Buy a cheap set of struts, and perhaps end up buying again an a year or two, making the repair cost more in the long run.

I wouldn't touch anything knock off. There was another forum I was reading that the cheap ones fail before the first oil change, the struts go back or springs break.

You will want a 30mm socket for the bottom mount, it is cheaper to buy an impact socket set with it included. Do final TQ while it is on the ground, bolt calls for 351ft pounds so either rent a torque wrench or use it in the lot at autozone(I saw someone else post they did this lol).

Pay more and do it right, or pay more and do it over and over.

I found a broken spring a few months ago and needed to change mine right away, because of low funds from the holidays, I went with a set of ebay for about that same price, and have had no issues with them at all, they ride pretty decent and do not have any noises. I am saving for some good ones, but, the ones that I got are still doing very well and I am confident that they will hold up until I get the money saved for better ones.
