Default Easy way to remove trans fluid?

I just checked all my fluids and noticed my atf is WAY too high - as in, when totally cold, fluid is above the higher HOT line, covering the "DO NO" in DO NOT ADD. Is there an easier way to remove the atf than having to drop the pan?

they make pumps that you can buy that would allow you to remove some of the fluid thru the dipstick tube.

If it had to be checked at op temp, how come it has a COLD section?

Legitimate question, not trying to sound smart.

Dumb question, but you're checking it with the truck idling right after shifting through all of the gears? Obviously it's best to check it at operating temp but if you're already over hot when it's cold, then that's not a good start haha.

Anyways, I overfilled mine once by mistake. I shoved a vinyl hose down the check tube and sucked it out that way. The hose was long enough I just sucked enough back, poured it into an old container, sucked some more, etc...
