Check your brake fluid level.

Not a major problem.

First --> Check your e-brake. Sometimes you have to pull it up as you hit the release latch which will give you an extra 1/2" or so. But I doubt that is your problem.

Next --> The problem is actually part of the connector in the dash. The plug wobbles in there and it turns your E-brake light on. You need to remove the plastic panel under the steering wheel. There are two bolts down by the OBD connector. Then there are two more bolts to remove the top panel. This will give you access to the connectors on top of your display. There is a plug on the left(driver) side that is like 1/2" x 2" or so, right on top of the entire module, and if you wiggle it while the truck is running, it will turn the E-brake light on. The trick is to use zap straps to hold it back towards the windshield. Just put a little tension on it. It doesn't need much. there was a post on this about 2 months ago if you look for it.

Here's some pictures to help you out with the fix. It's little effort to remove two interior panels. And I definitely cut the zap straps after the pics so that they didn't interfere with the panel.

The zap strap on the actual plug is just to give something to pull on, the other straps are to give it a little tug towards the windshield. Don't crank them down. Just a little past snug to get it to engage the plug. You can start your truck and see if it works and then tighten as needed.

Thanks folks! I guess I'll check the brake fluid level first, then look at ziptie-ing stuff..
