They have a stainless part as well. In Idaho they don't use salt on the roads so I didn't get the stainless muffler. If you reuse stock piping you could just swap in the stainless muffler and have it last longer.

Slight improvement over stock, but the main reason to get exhaust should be for better sound and anything else you get should be icing on the cake. It will increase hp slightly, but we have 6000 pound trucks. From my understanding unless you are supercharged or have done significant mods the performance gains will be neglible with a stock engine. Sounds a million times better. Bumping the piping to three inch helps to make it louder, but with stock cats in place it is just right to me.

Lol yeah I understand I'm not gonna be outrunning anyone in my truck. Yours is 12" long with 4" diameter and 3" inlet/outlet correct? I really like the sound of yours and have been looking for a muffler I like. Thanks

Correct. 12 inch case, 16 inches overall length. Here is a link to dynomax for the bullets. I recommend getting the part number there and searching on amazon. That's where I found mine the cheapest.

I'm guessing from the chart that part number 24248 is the same one you have just stainless? Sadly Amazon is not showing that product.

Jegs has the best price I've found on them yet. I'm pretty sure he has the 24222 and the 24248 is the stainless version

Correct. Well looks like jegs it is. Haven't checked summit's pricing but they are usually pretty low as well.

Where did you get your tail pipe? I have the 2.5"-3" adapter, the muffler, and now need a tailpipe. The only prebent stuff I can find is 2.5"
