Just subcribed to this one cause i'm thinking about doing this as well as the big5 upgrade. I'm only running a 500w rms sub amp and a 45w 4-channel and i can not only notice my headlights dim a little when the bass hits, but even when the truck is idling at night and my dome lights are on, i have noticed them dimming with changes in engine speed. Possibly the altenator is getting week cause the battery is less than a year old optima red top.

the nw kit with tray and wiring only is 464! wow seems a little high to me so today I took out my stock tray and fit the batteries in place had to remove the ground that was attached to the fire wall and relocate it to the fender but they seem to fit well tomorrow I'll be adding the hold down. I also found 2 other locations to temporarily mount 2 other batteries to get them to hawaii since I'm moving there and the army won't ship them so I'll put them in my truck while it ships since I'm having a hard time selling them here. Is it just me or is $120 each a good deal for these batteries I haven't had many hits on them here off of craigslist.

Are the batteries in the center console and underseat extras or are you going to wire them up as well?
