Default Drivers side mirror broken off

Was driving down the road when another truck veered into my lane, luckily I swerved quick enough to avoid a head on collision. My only problem was my drivers side power mirror was ripped off. Thee bracket is all that survived. The wires are hanging there. I’m looking for a replacement mirror and see OEM parts for 140 and after Market for half that. If I buy a mirror, how do I plug in my wires? Is there supposed to be a plug or is the plug in the mirror? I have 4 wires with a flat connector on the ends. I attached a pic, Any advise? Thanks-

The guy who hit me took off. By the time I turned around, I was flagged down by witnesses who told me he took off in a neighborhood. The guy was in a red truck and I drove up and down and found 3. It none had damage. Looks like I’m paying for this.

my only real question are the wires that are just hanging there, is there supposed to be a harness? Or does the mirror have a harness that I plug the wires into? Can’t find anything on the web about the wiring harness.

I guess I was lucky I swerved when I did otherwise it would have n[been a head on collision.

i can’t seen to find anything about a wiring harness specific to the mirror. When I google it it just shows a harness for the mirror switch. Does anybody know if the new mirror has a harness already? My wires that go to the mirror have paddle like ends on them so I’m guessing all I would have to do is plug them in if I can find the right diagram.

When you buy the replacement mirror unit and remove the old one..it will un-plug in the door pillar.

I don’t have the old mirror, it’s busted off all that’s left is the Skelton and loose wires hanging there.

Gotcha, thanks. Seems simple enough watching videos of it.
