Default Driver Door 06 scab

Well gents, I have an 06 scab. when I purchased my truck in 07 i didnt realize that the driver door was damaged and repaired. I found this out about 3 years down the line when the so called repair started to crack. My buddy who is a retired body guy helped me re-repair it, yet told me it might not last. which it hasnt. So now I am at a cross road. do i take the door down to bare metal and try to pull the dent out and repair it again. or get a new (used door) I have been looking for a door for about 2 years now. i have found a few here and there, but i kinda dont want to spent a thousand or more on it and still have to get it painted. this is a daily driver so any work has to be done fairly quick. any and all replies are greatly appreciated.

Junkyard man, Probably 250 bucks off a totalled truck. Just make sure its not bent. Then get a cheap paint job on the entire truck. You will never make it match right no matter what color. I would think the total for door, labor, paint will be close to 1000
