Default Dreadful Plug change

Hello yall I am preparing to change my plugs on my ford and all I hear is how the tips on these 3valves break off the plugs. What is the best way to change them or preparing to for the best luck of them not breaking off. I know there is a tool used to pull out the broke ends. But im sure there is a trick to loosen them up before then. I Have 103000 miles and they have never been changed so im sure I got some stuck plugs. Or should I just take it to my mechanic and not bother.

I've attached the thread for you. It is definitely a do'able job if you got the time and patience... Make sure you have all the tools you need readily available. I'm going to tackle mine at about 70K..

100k and never changed, your almost guaranteed to break one. best advise i can give you is use a 3/8 air impact with 3in extension impact wobble/universal with another 3 in extension. (make sure to use a strong impact matco 7 vein, snapon mg325) As crazy as it sound just blast the m fers out. did an 05 yesterday with 65k and broke none.. just make sure no porcelain broke off the plug and fell down in the cylinder, if it did blow it out with an air blower then start the motor and use the compression of the motor to blow out what you didnt..

Just did mine 71000. Did the fuel addative, 2 hour soak, still broke 4. Watched the you tube vid on the Lisle tool and got them out easy. Job went way easier that what I worried it would.

One more suggestion to do the night before, and after the job is completed:

DRINK HEAVILY.
