Default Door unlock code

I bought my 2004 f-150 lariat a couple months ago and it has a unlock code on the driver side door but I don't know the code to it, is there any way I can get the code so I can use it. I heard it was behind the back seat but I'm not sure.

That's what they say. I took mine to the dealer and the found it for me for free. It's not to hard to get the seat out, and i think there is a sticky on this somewhere. Good luck

Yes its behind the back seat. Do a search on backseat removal and you ll find the code on the module.

So glad I found this! I just bought an 06 with no owners manual. Call the dealership and asked about getting the code, they said $50 to hook up a scan tool an they'll get it for me. Hell no I wasn't gonna pay that lol

This is a surprise to me. My truck is an '07. When I bought it, the gal was sure to show me a little card in the manual package that gives a code to push to reset it to what you want. She told me that if I ever forget it, I can push this code in and reset it. No tearing the rear seat apart. I figured the dealer would easily be able to give the reset code to you.

The reset/factory code is different in each vehicle. If the dealer likes you and you are having other work done they might pull it from the computer for you for free. If they don't like you then you can pull it from the sticker behind the back seat. Those little cards rarely made it to the second owners.
