Mine are way faded and im wanting to restore them to black. Has anyone done this? I searched and all i could find was ones with chrome overlays or painted white with no "how to" write ups. Best paint to use? Sanding required? Do they need to be removed prior to painting? Any advice would be great! Thanks guys!

 

I replaced all 4 of mine with Ford new pieced. But working at the dealership I get a cheaper price. I think retail the brand new ones are about $100 a piece, if I remember right.

 

i just painted my cowl and grill with krylon paint and it looks pretty good, was thiniking of doing my pillars next as well as the door handles and mirrors.

 

I had mine painted by a body shop for like 75 bucks never seen anyone else do it except those hideous chrome sticks i shudder at the thought of those

 

got any part numbers? i've been trying to figure it out for a while with no luck. i got s 2007 fx4 supercrew.
