I'm just pondering, but I bet if you took it to a certified dealer they could get the code. That, however, would involve taking it to a dealer, which isn't fun.

Use the search feature. You will find several threads on how to find the code. I will give you a hint. It is behind the rear seat.

take out the back of the rear seat and the factory code will be on the modual. then just punch it in. check for videos on youtube for how to program your own code

mine was in on a card in the manual book they give you. I would look there before taking your back seat out to find it.

I had a similar problem when I bought my truck, took it to the dealer (where i bought it no less) and they were able to get the code in exchange for an hour's labor...which the used lot was "happy" to cover for me.

Weigh your options, if you're not comfortable pulling your back seats then pony up the labor charge.
