Hello all, new to the forums and haven't done too much searching. I'm having an issue with my "Door Ajar" alert. It is always on, even when all doors are closed. When the truck is off an the key is in the ignition it dings as if the drivers door is open. The door key pads will not lock or unlock it, nor can I use the lock button inside the truck. The only way to lock or unlock it is by the key fob. The interior lights stay on so I have ha to disconnect the battery. I didn't realize it but my son was pressing the key pad buttons while I was pressing the unlock button on the key fob. Would that cause the problem? I have heard of the door ajar sensor becoming stuck and have sprayed WD-40 into the locking mechanism. I have an 05 F-150 4.6l super cab. Thanks for any and all help!!!
