Default Dome light problem

I'm a new owner of a 2008. Had some issues, had to motor swap etc. My dome lights never worked so I swapped the bulbs.

My driver's side still isn't working. IveI checked all fuses and verified it's a good bulb and good connection in the bulb holder.

Any hints? I'm lost here. Passenger side works as expected.

Are you getting correct voltage in the bulb holder when the door is open? Do you have a meter?

Okay. I do have power. That all looks good. I think it's the switch that toggles the light.

Problem solved! The toggle switch wasn't making a good connection. Taking it apart and putting it back together got it working. Thanks for the hint.
