Does the 05 F150 5.4 have a coolant temp sensor and a temp sending unit?

as far as I know, it only has a cylinder head temperature sensor that is UNDER the intake and is a real PITA to change.... ask me how I know.

I have read magazine's that say this, the PCM just takes other info and predict's, no lie, idk if you were being serious or a smartass.
