How far back the wheel goes inside of the wheel well, to measure just lay the wheel face down, lay a straight edge across it, and measure from lugs up

the 22's will fit, I have 37" tires (37x13.5x20) and a 3 inch body lift, and a 2.5" level, and I had to cut away at my body and fenders, not im not talking sheet metal, Im talking 6 ply structural pinch welds that had to then be re welded...

...."minor trimming" right?

It all depends on rims they didnt stick out the fender. But wernt rubbin the ucas
