Default Do i need a capacitor?

Hey everyone, I am installing 2 12 inch subs under the rear seat of my 04 150 screw. I have one 4 channel kicker amp running my 4 alpine speakers and I am installing the 2 subs with another kicker mono 750 watt amp running the subs. Will i need a capacitor for my battery? I have heard 150s have bigger batteries so I may not. Let me know your experience! thanks!

do the big 3 upgrade before you get a cap, which includes upgrading 1) ground from engine block to chassis ground 2) battery negative to chassis ground and 3) alternator to battery posotive

Get yourself an Optima Yellow Top and go from there. If you need more after that get it. In my Expedition I had a Kicker KX 1200.1 pushing a Solo Baric 15L7, and a Kicker KX 650.4 pushing all of my components and had no problems with just the battery upgrade.

This man knows what he is talking about.
DO YOUR RESEARCH!
Capacitors are crap!

The big three upgrade is all you will need with such a small system.

It all depends on how hard you're pushing the amp. If you are use DVC subs and bridging to a 1 ohm or lower load, you may need a cap. I agree with the big 3 as indicated in previous post. Best way to tell is if your lights dim noticably at idle when your subs hit, you may want to put a cap in.
