Default Do I have an extra leaf?

Alright guys i just bought a 2004 lariat supercrew and am putting a small lift/level on it. Put the 3 in autospring in the front and am now moving on to the 1 in block in the rear. However even with the three in. it is still almost level. I think I may have an extra leaf. There are currently 4. I searched and found 1 thread where a guy also had 4 and he ended up having an extra, but mine looks a little different. Here are some pics:

Stock is 3 leafs, if there's 4 then it's a added leaf. Mine has a added leaf and there are 4 total.

Ok, thanks. I think I might have to remove one to be able to get the look I am going for with the block in the back. I also never tow anything and if I did it would be just be jet skis or a small trailer with a few off road toys. I figure this will give me a softer ride as well. So I would remove the second from the bottom correct? And what about that clamp deal that is on there?

The "4th leaf" is an overload spring and it is a stock part. If you do remove it the rear will be softer, but you won't be able to carry a load (as you have stated) the rear will be unstable and will not handle the way it is intended to (while carrying that load).

So does the bottom one count as a leaf or no? In regards to removing one I was referring to the third leaf from the top. I thought there was only suppose to be three total (including the bottom "overload spring"). I had no intention of removing the overload spring. In fact, I think I am just going to add in the block and keep the leaf springs as is.
