Default DIY Bedliner

I have a plastic bedliner that came with the truck. It looks decent I guess and does it's job, but it's starting to warp and come up off the bottom. I've heard of people spraying their own bed with some kind of stuff and was wondering what people on this forum have done. If you have any pics or recommendations, I would really appreciate it. I wonder how much it cost to do the Ryno liner thing?

The other reason I want to take the plastic liner out is so that I can run LED strips under the bed rails to light up the bed. Can't really do that with the plastic bed liner.

The Herculiner has the best reviews, and I used to sell them all the time with; customers loved the results.

With repeated use herculiner wears off. Ive used on my floorboards of my mud truck.even with multiple coats and proper preping. Problem is it's sand based.

DONT DO IT!!!!!You will regret it.

Does it look good, yes, but it will wear off and it is better to get a professional to do it. It will not be as hard or durable unless a professional shop does it. I know 3 people that have done it them self including me on my old truck. I spent hours prepping and did multiple coats. My buddy got his professionally done and it is harder, thicker, and more durable then mine. there is a reason a shop wants $500 to do it, theirs will last forever, and you will be pissed when you see someone that did theirs professionally if you end up going the diy route. like the other poster said its not if, its when it wears off.

I've heard a lot of people say this also. I bought my truck last year with no liner in it. So I did it myself just to clean up the tons upon tons of scratches. When I get the money I will pay for professional rhino line or other product.

i used the raptor liner and although i havent had it on long enough to test the durability we have done quite a few of them at my work with no comebacks. the raptor is better then duplicolor or herculiner because its catalyzed urethane based. anything that u use right out of the can without hardener is not gona last as long.
