Disabling DRLs on a 06 F-150
I understand that the DRLs are a safety feature but last night I put some 8000K HIDs in the truck. I have DRLs with Automatic lights, and the HIDs dont have a resistor to limit the power to them to have a DRL look, so i want to disable my trucks DRL function to save the life of my HIDs. Does anyone know where or how to disable the DRLs effectively without loosing the High, Low and automatic functions of the lights?

There is a small box somewhere around the drivers side of the front bumper that can just be unplugged.
250s work like that I am almost positive 150s do as well.

Look in your owners manual and locate the fuse box/panel under the hood. Drivers side I believe. Open the fuse box up and by referencing your owners manual find where the drl relay is located in that panel and pull it out. Simple as that

The only relays in that box are the DD1, F03, R202, R01, R02. There is nothing in the other spots. (see pictures attached)
