I purchased a new 2008 5.4 F150 2wd last winter and absolutely love the truck. I was in a situation where I had to hurry up and buy something because my other truck was kicking the bucket. I overlooked the rear end and later discovered that it is a standard open differential. That is disappointing - i've been stuck twice in ridiculous spots . I'm interested in converting it to a limited slip. Can anyone tell me how much that will cost? What is a recommended LS diff? Also, how will this affect the warranty?

 

don't waste your money with a stock l/s, get a good unit--i would recommend an auburn posi, they can take one hell of a beating
