Did this, oddly enough it didn't take much at all for it to start coming back out. So now I wonder if it was ever really low. Lol scheduled to take it in on Friday. Just trying to eliminate all other factors so that the shop can't give me no BS about it being something else other than the components inside the axle housing.

Default rear diff

Check your breather tube. I have found on 3 different Ford trucks that they were completely plugged off. also check the barb fitting where the brake lines run on the axle housing tube that it is clear. I needed to run a small drill bit through it to clean out the rust.


Breather tube plugs off & when pressure builds it forces gear oil out through front seal.

x2 on the breather tube being plugged. Happend to me and it popped my pinion seal.
