Im sure Gm has a similar video making them look good. Like the Weak tailgates our trucks have. Every one is only going to talk about the good things and not the bad. Like our spark plug and cam phazer issues !

chevy tailgates r garbage both my buddies own silverados and both have a ratchet strap holding the gate to the bed.!! lmao!

This is news to me? After a few years of surfing these forums your the first Ive ever seen say this about our tailgates. Maybe your mistaking ours for the Toyota gates, they had an issue for a couple years, their gate would fold like a piece of paper when you put weight on them.

i know i have had over 500LBS + 2 180LBS men on my tailgate at the same time and it is still straight and true, stock hindges and cables no problems here.
