Default I did mine at 80k

Two broke and the tool got them out . I used the ford TSB and MC carb cleaner I let it soak for 24 hours after trying the one eighth turn on the cold engine . I would have varied this by moving them a little back and forth if I had to do it again in stages .
I have used champions until now, I'm at 175k next time I will go to SP515 . I also use nickel anti seize lightly on tips . . Champions have run great But I have changed them several times due to timing job . No more extended plug changes and I clean carbon out of plug tip area when I do them with carb cleaner.

Some people are like that.
I recently did my brother in laws plugs. An '04 bought in August of '03. 156,000 miles and 13 years on original plugs, with none breaking.
Aside from the electrode pretty much being gone, they did not look too bad compared to others with 1/2 the mileage.

Sounds like that may have been a heritage with a 2v

Same story with my '07. Broke 6 of 8, had to order/express deliver the Lisle 3-piece tool set. Short step-stool, and the long special 3v spark plug socket were all necessary.

up next... fuel injectors...

Yeah, 3V motor and replaced the boots and wires. used the electric grease and everything.

Got the plugs on ebay, they were advertised as F350 plugs but were the exact same as for the F150 but the same seller listed F150 plugs as $80 but the "F350" plugs were $50. So shop around!!!

Got the boots and wires from RockAuto.. cheapest place I could find.

Bought the tool on ebay also. $40 + ship

All in all its was a days work with lots of goofing off.
