Regarding all the threads I've read mentioning PCM update/reflashs, and/or TSBs. Is there a policy from Ford that dealerships check vehicle VINs when they come into the dealer shop, to check if updates and/or TSB/recall repairs have been done or are needed on a vehicle?

 

It will only tell them if there are any recalls. TSBs and such are only in the computer if it was done at that dealership. TSBs only apply if the problem occurs.

 

What about PCM updates?
