Default Dead on the road.....

I have an 05 Screw with the 5.4, the check engine light came on a few days ago and I was waiting for my buddy to get back in town because he is a service manager at a Ford Dealer and takes good care of me.

BUT, I was driving today and I suddenly lost power on the road, thought I was in fail safe mode. I was limping at about 900 RPM, then it just shut off so I shifted to N and pulled off.

Now it won't turn over, the solenoid on the passenger floorwell clicks when I turn the key to start and the info center only registers dashes.

Anyone ever have something similar happen? My buddy is still out of town and I don't trust the local part changer to fix my F150. Thanks

had something similar happen and got stuck at autozone
its usually something electrical.
check the battery and starter connections
then move to the fuse pannel
the thing that did it to me ended up being one of the plugs above the fuse panel where all the wires runs into had barely popped out, pushed it back in and with a little bit more cranking than usual the truck started
