I have 6000k HIDs from DDM in my foglights, and haven't had a problem yet. They do still sell the kits, because I just bought a set for the F350

Good to know about the DRLs. Great info! I will never go back to anything other than HIDs now. I have a set from Retro-Solutions in my headlights that have been there for over a year, and NEVER had an issue with them.

I have DDM in all my vehicles and motorcycles...trouble free with years of use. I can't comment on their customer service though because...well I haven't had to use it yet.

I have DDM and like them a lot. Good HIDs. I also have that same kind of problem. Once and a while the drivers side hid wouldn't light when the engine was running. Turn it off and they would turn on just fine. He also told me to change sides so I did and the same side still did it. Cleaned and tightened all my connection when I put a new battery in a liil while ago and haven't had a problem since.

I too have had more trouble with these ***** than you could imagine. Two sets of garbage bulbs, I send my old ones back and they say there is nothing wrong and charge me up the a** for MY GARBAGE BULS back. I made 1080p video proving it, they claim they don't see it (though members on here see it and so did the CC company and other friends). I disputed it with my CC company. Those Aholes will F you every chance they get. They test your bad bulbs and say they are fine, they lie and then make you pay them more... Brian is an a** too, he was my main contact. I suggest everyone avoid them if you are worried about there being problems, they will NOT stand behind their so called "Lifetime Warranty" and their customer service is pathetic. They will tell you they they cant help you until you threaten to dispute, then they will make you pay for whatever they choose to do. Their product is crap, their people are crap, I will never do business with or recommend them ever.

Yet you still have them in your sig?

If they gave you that much trouble why didn't you go with a different company?

Also...you should not expect a company to send you a replacement part before you send the bad one back. Could you take a TV from wal-mart, figure out it doesn't work and go get another one before taking the first back? No.

DDM would lose tons of money if they did that, it's just a bad business decision.
I completely understand that and I completely agree with paying the deposit until the bad one is returned. I have 2 gripes about the whole thing though. 1) they charged me a $28 deposit for a wiring harness they sell for $15 on their website, and more importantly 2) They have had the wiring harness for a while now and have never refunded the deposit.

And I know someone is going to say "did you call them and see why it hasn't been refunded? Maybe they forgot". F%$k that. I shouldn't have to call them and stay on hold for 20 mins to remind them to do their job

I have bought all my kits off of Ebay and they are cheaper in price than DDM. Have the 9007 Bi-xenon for my F150 and Cobra, my brother Taurus, and my other brothers F250. Also got a kit of H11 for the wife's Fusion and haven't had one problem with any of the kits.

Probably cause they are coming directly from China from the seller that i get them from....lol

Yes, I keep them in my sig because they are still there. It is a long drawn out dispute that has been going on since November 2nd.

Whole story:
I bought the kit, installed it per the instructions and the passengers side bulb would bounce when I hit small HIGHWAY bumps, whereas the drivers side DID NOT. Now, I swapped the bulbs (drivers side to passengers, vice versa) and magically... Now the drivers side bounces (The other bulb DOES NOT bounce or act up) Also, that same bulb would fail to fire 3/5 times they were turned on. I called DDM they instructed me to swap sides (already had), then to swap ballasts (no idea how that could be the issue with bouncing). Once I had swapped the entire kit around, the SAME bulb was now with its original ballast on the drivers side. Still bouncing and failing to fire most of the time. So I called them and they said I could return them for warranty exchange (I provided 1080p video for proof). I opted to do the "advanced replacement" where I pay for new parts, once they arrive I send back the old ones, and the purchase amount is refunded once they receive the old bulbs and test them. The new bulbs were installed and once again ONE bulb was bouncing. I have eliminated every possible fault on my part! Only possible reason for TWO crap pairs is one simple thing; they are CRAP.
Now, DDM calls me and tells me that I will not get a refund because their tests show that my bulbs operate perfectly, no issues. I asked how they test them, they said Brian-"They are hooked to a ballast and turned on". Thats it? No housing, no "real life scenario tests"? So, in my housings (apparently I'm the only one) ONE bulb will bounce, one wont, and when swapped the other side will then bounce? So my housings know what I'm doing, and act accordingly? They think so!
They still refuse to issue a refund, I disputed it and have provided FURTHER video of the issue. They will F you when you have issues, and NEVER stand behind their warranties. They don't care about the customer. They are NOW saying that I dont deserve a refund because I still have the bulbs I paid for... DUH! I have ONE set of bulbs! One in my truck ONE returned to them. If I returned the bulbs (I PAID FOR THEM WHEN I BOUGHT THE KIT) I wouldnt have any! Thats ridiculous!

So I'll let the CC company see how they are screwing people. I showed them the video, they see whats happening and see the problem. DDM says they can't see it... Well I proved that your product is ****, with video proof, I tried to work it out with them first with NO luck or help at all, so now I am disputing it. I don't have to be stuck with a garbage product because they dont test them properly. DDM needs to grow some ***** and stand behind the products they sell. Never buy from DDM, you will regret it if you EVER have an issue.
