Me and my buddy are trying to figure out which wires are positive and negative, any ideas?

I just reread my post and realized how ***-y it sounded. Sorry bout that. Where are you trying to tap into the DRL system at. If you tap in at the fuse box, then the wire with the fuse is the hot wire. If you are tapping in at the headlights, you could unplug the bulb and test what ever you are hooking up to it.
