Default Dash indicator. Guy with Beach Ball in face?

Ok so for about a year now I have had this indicator light com on in my truck. Its the light that looks like a guy sitting with a beach ball in his face. I assume it is related to the airbags. However is it related to anything else. Had it inspected twice and no problems. Never seemed to change anything other than the annoyance of it being on. It comes on at start up and flashes a few seconds and there he will sit.

I'm not sure but I think it has something to do with your fuse. I've heard about this problem before.

Have you tried talking to a service advisor at your local Ford dealership? Explain this one to them; they will tell you what symptom is (for free), and then they may suggest their fix (a charge). At least you'll have your answer. Then share with us; this one has my couriosity!

I have had the battery off several times. This will not clear it or eliminate it. As far as the sequence....I will count it and let you know tonight. It snowed four inches here in NW Pa and I dont want to go out right now!

As far as asking Ford......really? Are you kidding me?

if you have an aftermarket head unit in there take the dash piece off and see if the light on the dash piece is plugged in correctly.
