Default Dash Control Missing?

So I just picked up a 2004 F150, noticed that i'm missing one of the controls on the dash (don't know how I missed it before purchasing). It's on the left side of the steering wheel between the wheel and the light controls. There's a rectangular hole there with no control. Can someone tell me what went there and what it controlled? Also, if anyone has any recommendations on parts to replace it, that would be great.

Thanks,

If it's rectangular, rather than oval, I'll bet the PO had a switch there to run aux lights or somesuch.
