Default Custom tuner?

Im thinking about getting a custom tuner for my truck. Its a 2004 suercrew cab f150. One of my buddies has a black bear custom tune on his lifted chevy and told me that the effects are very noticeable. Any suggestions on which tune i should look into?

There's a bunch of threads on this topic if you do a search. I use the Edge and can definitely tell a difference on the performance tune with 93 octane.

Troyer, VMP, PHP, Diablo and some have been raving about mike at 5 star. As stated before there are lots of threads on this topic. Try searching and you will find everything you wanted to know about tuning.

IMO, the best is a SCT X3 w/Troyer Performance custom tunes. If you want to avoid the wait time that Troyer has, Mike at 5 Star Tuning is also top notch. PHP's Gryphon is also a good one. IMO, the Edge is worthless. Stock tunes suck. Canned tunes suck less. Custom tunes is the way to go.
