Default custom exhaust/do it yourself

have an 04 f150 and looking at doing my own exhaust thought about doing a dual straight pipe with no muffler with the tips running out in front of the rear tire out both sides. any suggestions or ideas? also was looking at doing myself. anyone know a good place thats not so pricey where i could pipe my own pipe? thanks suggestions would be nice.

I have the stock system straight piped and it really doesn't sound that bad. However you said you want to run the tips out both sides in front of the rear tire? I'm pretty sure the gas tank is in the way but I don't know for sure.

It depends on what you like. You can drop a muffler in place of the stock unit or you can drop a piece of straight pipe in. I don't get too excited about dual exhaust systems, most are not true duals.

well any suggestions for a nice deep toned but loud that i can do for a muffler? appreciate the advice and suggestions, what about a body lift? i put a 1.5" level spacer in the front to make it even with the back. does a body lift really make it look bigger? cause from some pictures it doesnt look like it did anything personally. suggestions as what i can do? thanks
