i have a 2005 ford f150 xlt 5.4triton. on was on the highway a couple days ago and i turned my cruise control on and then pressed set it worked for a few seconds then cut off. i thought nothing of it. so i pressed resume worked for about 2 - 4 seconds then cut off. i pressed set to speed it back up it cut off on me less 2 seconds. the vehicle stayed running NEVER cut off. is there anyone who can help me out there because i am a proud FORD F150 OWNER?

 

Welcome to the forum...lots of good info and guys here be sure to post some pictures ,,, you dont have led tail lights do you.... if not... you need to check all your brake light bulbs .. ..

Check the bulbs in your high-mount stop light and check the parking brake switch on pedal mechanism. Those are the common problems.
