Default Cruise control indicator light

cruise control indicator light does not illuminate on a 06 F150 XLT Super crew. Cruise control appears to work fine with no issues, horn works, all steering wheel buttons illuminate. Just cannot figure out the indicator light. Have placed the cluster into diagnostic mode and checked the operation of the indicators. Cruise did not light up, but didn’t know if it was suppose to or not. Any suggestions?

CC indicator light is an incandescent bulb. It may have burned out.

All back lights, CC, high beam, signals, odometer are incandescent. Warning indicators are soldered in leds.

What 2008XL said. If you are going to pull your cluster out, there are a couple videos on youtube, you might want to think about upgrading to led's.
I just did with green 360 LED's and they are fantastic.

The only reason I wouldn’t recommend green is because your needles now aren’t going to be as bright. They are red, so they’re going to look a lot darker now.

I used 6000k leds with great results.

I didn’t consider that the F150’s and my Mark LT had different color needles. Mine are green.

Interesting. I guess I’ve never seen a Mark LT cluster before. I did not know they used green needles.
