Default Cracked Windshield

So I was driving down the highway yesterday and a rock hit my windshield. About 10 seconds later there was a 6 inch crack right above my line of sight.

Unfortunately, it's not repairable, and my insurance deductible is $500 so this is coming out of pocket. Safelite quoted me $288 for the OEE Ford winshield. Apparently it has the F150 logo in the middle with a blue trim around the windshield. The regular windshield is $244, but I like the logo on it.

Anybody get this windshield from Safelite? Any other options?

$288 is way too cheap... i did one today with OE logo and shade.. find a local shop to perform the work and support the community! i carry both windshields (with logo and without) in stock.. the one with logo is a DW1529 and without is a DW1551.. both of which i carry in the shade variant because most customers prefer the shade..

Safelite is a national company that is owned by parent company Belron from the UK... their techs work on commission and have been widely known for hacking vehicles... not to mention their steering tactics with insurance claims

I have the same situation. I was actually quoted $275 for mine with the Ford logo from a local shop. Actually going to call today when they open up to see when they can get out here to replace it on site.

I vote for the local shop.
