Default Correct spark plug gap

I have a 2007 king ranch 5.4 3v triton. I’ve gotten different answers online in different places and I don’t trust ChatGPT. The gap on motorcraft plugs come set at .040-.045 if I’m not mistaken. Is there any adjustment to the gap necessary? Or should I toss em in as is out of the box? Thanks in advance

Most of the "fine wire" Platinum or Irridium plugs cannot be adjusted
The old style double platinum plugs with the thick wire can be checked and adjusted
However, they DO come pre gapped
I usually just check to verify the negative electrode has not been smashed down
I knew a good ole Dodge boy who used his fingernail, he had his thumb nail shaved to .044" when he worked for us
