Default Coolant help

Coolant is going thru water pump, heater core hoses hose to top of radiator and the while radiator is getting hot as well as the per mentioned hoses. However we can't seem to get water to go in the bottom hose. Thermostat is in right, as it never even came out, but was in right. How do I get this air pocket out

Try jacking the front of the truck up to get the radiator pointing up as high as you can. Then massage the bottom hose, and the top by squeezing then repeatedly.. If its just a slug of air this should burp it out.. Keep your radiator cap off and watch for a sudden drop in the fluid level. Do this all with the truck running...

When I worked at a radiator shop, sometimes we'd run into this type of issue with systems that don't have a bleeder valve. Try disconnecting the upper rad hose at the thermostat, and fill the radiator directly. Use the massage/pump method on the lower hose to get some coolant into the engine. Once you've got as much fluid in there as you can, put the hose back on and start her up with the cap off. Let her run for just a few minutes, just enough to get the fluid warm and check your coolant level. Don't run the engine too long witg air in there, you can blow a head gasket that way.
