Default converter question

I have a 06 and my cats are clogged to the point it won't run. Can I cut them off and not have any problems? I live in Michigan so no inspections!

Will it run? Yes. Will it run correctly? Maybe. Is it a good idea? Probably not. Are you harming the environment? Yes.

If you want to get better flow some hi-flow cats might be a better, albeit more expensive, option.
